Kings Church Heathfield member Tim Joy is interviewed by UCB radio about a picture God gave him 14 years ago when he was unconscious in the grips of a medical emergency.
The Foodbank in Halisham is run by local people for local people. We and they don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. The foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
At Kings Church, we have a collection point for the foodbank at our building in State Hall and our members regularly give donations to help keep the warehouse stocked.
